The Nanda Branch was formerly National Hsinchu University of Education (Hsinchu Teachers College). It execute heavy responsible for cultivating teachers. In order to nurture students to become excellent teachers, the library collects various versions of elementary school textbooks for teachers' and students' teaching research, curriculum learning, teaching plan design, educational practice, and trial teaching materials and auxiliary tools. The library collects the elementary school textbooks, teacher manual, exercises, guidelines, and class reference books from various domestic publishing houses every year. Currently, the Nanda branch has a collection of more than 40,000 elementary school textbooks.

1.      Collected version:

It contains the curriculum materials for elementary schools published by the National Institute for Compilation and Translation, the Grade 1-9 Curriculum materials compiled by various domestic publishing houses (including textbooks, exercises, teacher manuals, guidelines, and class reference books…etc.). The elementary school textbooks which are published by Kang Hsuan, Nani, Hanlin, National Institute for Compilation and Translation, National Academy for Educational Research(National Education Information Center), Guang-Fu bookstore, National Teachers' Association, Taiwan Provincial lnstitute for Elementary School Teachers lnservice Education, and Senseio Bookstore…etc., are collected.

2.      Collection location:

located in the elementary school textbook dedicated area on the second floor. The collections in this area can be read only in the library.

3.      Shelving method:

Shelving according to the textbook call number (each subject-publisher-textbook/teacher manual/excise-publishing year-grade).
